Unsane: What the opposite of 8 is

Hello,

I’m Matt. I’m sort of crazy, but aren’t we all?

The opposite of 8 is 3. Allow me to explain.

Half of eight is 4, right?

Anything below 0, and liably 0, is not actually the opposite of anything, because it doesn’t exist. So, we’ll discount it. Numbers and things exist, therefore they’re not negative space. You can’t go below nothing. I mean, seriously, below nothing?

Any whole number above 9 is a combination of numbers below 10 (or up to 9), right?

So… there you go, the opposite of 8 is 3.
