Windows Mobile: Part 1: Research – Circumventing your IT department’s Reluctance to Enable ActiveSync / Getting Email on your Windows Mobile Phone

I’ve been working with a member of HowardForums to attempt to get RPC over HTTPS working on their windows mobile phone, as their IT dept refuses to enable ActiveSync.

I’ve walked them through exporting the CER from the web site (even though it is from a CA), and install it on their phone. I then came across an interesting white paper from Microsoft.
