Gmail: Pre-filtering Email

Came across this on the LifeHacker blog.

You can put a + in your email and it will still go to your email address.
For instance, you could put GMAILADDRESS+work@gmail.com and it’ll still go to your GMAILADDRESS@gmail.com mailbox.
But then you can create a filter to handle the emails that are sent to GMAILADDRESS+work@gmail.com address.

Too bad I didn’t know this two years ago.
